Paid Dues

Paid Dues is a independent hip hop concert. It's filled with artists who don't sign with any record company.
This was located in San Bernandino.

This concert happens only once a year, normally I don't attend these things because of how expensive it is, but the line up was outstanding. At most it was half of the artists I listen to.
Last year, I Probobly only liked one person.

Anyways, the concert was so much better because Macklemore was performing. Of course, he sang the popular song "Thrift Shop". Not only that, but I discovered that he was not signed with a company. Thinking that this song was number one on the charts, this independent hip hop song became number one.

I do reccomend anyone who wants discover new music to go to a Paid Dies concert.

The 2013 one the just occurred was supposed to be located in a venue at Los angeles, however the tickets got sold out and changed the venue to a bigger spot in San Bernadino.

Venice Beach

This is my most favorite place to go to of all times. Despite the fact the the environment is filled with marjuana sellers, homeless people, wreck less music, and simply tourists; the vibe of the area is what I fell in love with.

The first time I ever went to Venice beach I fell in love with the little side markets. These markets were filled with a bunch of random shinnanigans and souvenirs sold for a cheaper price. Within these markets there are also food stands. My favorite one is the fruit stand, especially since you can top it off with Mexican spices.

Another great part of Venice beac is the ambience. There's a lot of music, street shows, skate boarders, and surfers. When you once touch the water, it's so clear and the sand is so soft.

My most favorite part of Venice beach is the street shows. The first time I ever went there, I was attracted to this performance where a boy played the drums on buckets. And he made beats to popular songs.

One day I hope to live there.

Las Vegas

First things first, what the hell is a 17 year old supposed to do in Sin City with a bunch of legal adults. Yeah when we go out I can have a water cup or if I'm lucky a drink of sherly temple.

I do adore the bright lights, and the sight seeing at night. My favorite part is watching the outdoor shows at hotels such as; the bellagio waters, and the treasure island pirate show.
One of my favorite attractions is, "New York New York hotel's outdoor roller coaster. I went on that about 3 years ago, and it was amazing. Not as good compared to few six flags rides but overall a good experience.

I'm just tired of seeing billboards filled with half naked men and women, or the smell of cigarettes, or even being surrounded by a bunch of drunk bastards.

To me, Vegas is just an immense tease for people underage.

Road Trip

Normally I prefer flights due to the comfortable ness and the fact that I have no worries of driving. However now that school is out and I'm in Spring break, my father decided to plan a random trip to Vegas.

The idea was nice but the idea of going on a road trip is awful. Usually when I go to Orange County, or any other place involving driving, I'm the driver. But for this trip however, I'm a passenger.

So today...
I was annoyingly awaken at 6AM. (And when the Filipino culture wakes each other up by yelling in a hostile manner). I didn't even pack yet, not did I shower prior to leaving. My morning was rushed and I had to be up and ready to go by 6:30AM.
On the bright side I was able to sleep in the car ride there.

Worst part of my road trip was sitting next to my cousin, who was extremely crippled. I had to take care of him, and also I was squished because of his foot cast. It was basically 4 hours of disaster.

This is why I prefer flights.

Italian Ice & Ice Cream: Joe's Italian Ice

Joe's Italian Ice.

An Authentic Philly Style Water ice homemade with Fresh fruit.

Their soft serve ice cream is shipped from Pennsylvania where it's cooked ultra high temperatures, to give it a noticeably creamier, sweeter taste.

Last night, I was coming from Hunnington Beach with my cousins. On the way home, we went out if route to have a taste of Joe's Italian ice. It was located on Harbor Street in Garden Grove, Otange County. This store happened to be such a small area where there was no indoor seating or even indoor purchasing.

What caught my eye, was the "Joe Latti". It appealed to me the most delicious item on the menu! I had my choice of  Style Philadelphia Italian Ice layered with some soft serve ice cream

My cousins too had a taste of this, which they loved. I highly reccomend this place, especially since the looks of the place are deceiving but once you taste it, it's like something you have never tried before.
